Two rooms were booked but only one registration was available. The staff added the second room and even arranged side-by-side units without being asked. Good service, well-trained and attentive staff.

The room I booked was cleaned by housekeeping and available with superb view down over Penang and the double bed, as for instance. The location couldn't be more comfy and easy near y shop. The food I tried was good and they have variety of meals to choose from.

The staff were kind of rude, didn't expect that coming.

The bathroom was also large and relaxing, perfect for a couple. We loved the quietness of our room, located at the end of the corridor, and the view from our window was breathtaking. The hotel staff was friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. The location was superb, with plenty of eateries, pharmacies, and the city center within walking distance. Plus, the hotel offered free parking for those driving. The facilities, including a great pool and a cozy bar, added to the overall experience. We truly enjoyed our time here.

Could see city perfectly from our spacious and brand-new room. The bed was comfortable, and there was a large bathroom. The setting was magnificent, short walk to Penang Island, and the street art which is the dominant tourist attraction in Penang at the moment. The staff were particularly helpful and excellent, everything was excellent.

The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety of options. Additionally, the hotel facilities were well-maintained, and the location made it easy to explore the city, as it was near various shops and transportation options.

The hotel lacked proper air flow, which caused the room to be too cold.

The hotel is conveniently located near many attractions and the staff is well-trained and attentive. During check-in, we experienced some delays but the front desk staff handled the situation professionally. Our room was not as clean as we expected. Even though we requested a room change, the staff was initially unwilling to accommodate us.

The rooms at Courtyard By Marriott Penang were all non-smoking and in great condition. Everything in the room, from the lights to the air conditioning, shower, taps, toilet. The view from the room was fantastic, and I had multiple electric sockets available for my convenience. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel staff were friendly and approachable. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of eateries, pharmacies, and the city center. The security at the hotel was also good, with security guards stationed at the entrance of the parking lot and the lobby. The facilities, including the pool and bar, were great and well-maintained.

Although my stay was overall very satisfactory, there were a few downsides that are important to mention. The pool was unattended, with no staff members or lifeguards present.
